Junior A Hurling Championship - Aghabullogue V Blarney (Second Round) Report Page

06/07/2012 Blarney 1-08 Aghabullogue 1-04

The Aghabullogue Junior Hurlers bowed out of the Junior Hurling Championship despite a tremendous effort and performance against Blarney on Friday 6th July. With the wind to their backs, the Aghabullogue men started strong and outscored the Blarney men by four points to three in the first half.

Blarney opened the second half stronger and added one goal and four points to their tally before Kevin Finnegan responded for Aghabullogue when he powered a rasper of a shot to the back of the Blarney net from a free. With just three points between the sides, all was to play for, however despite the best efforts of the men in green and white, it was not enough to overcome Blarney.
