Aghabullogue retain their Intermediate Hurling status following a great win over Dromina on Saturday, 14th September in Mourneabbey.For the duration of the game, the Aghabullogue men worked tirelessly ensuring an all important win. The game started with both teams on very level terms and impressive scores were exchanged by both sides. Six of the Aghabullogue men contributed to the scoring in the first half, with Mark O'Flynn recording 4 points from placed balls, John Buckley recording 2 impressive points from play and Finbarr Foley, Dan Twomey & Sean O'Sullivan adding one point each. Aghabullogue lead at half time on a scoreline of 1-09 to 0-08.

Dromina clawed back Aghabullogue's lead at the start of the second half, however the never say die attitude of the Aghabullogue men ensured that they pushed further ahead. Mark O'Flynn recorded an impressive ten points from placed balls, John Corkery adding two further points from play and Michael Dennehy and Dan Twomey adding one point each to Aghabullogue's tally. Aghabullogue ran out worthy winners in the end and they retain their status for the coming 2014 Intermediate Hurling Championship campaign.
