Aghabullogue will now have to fight relagation in the Premier Intermediate Football Championship following their defeat to Kildorrery on Sunday 14th June. From the beginning of this game, Kildorrery dominated and Aghabullogue found it very hard to get into the game. Kildorrery started strong and had five points on the scoreboard before Patrick Finnegan pointed a free for Aghabullogue. Robert O'Keeffe and Patrick Finnegan then pointed for Aghabullogue from play to leave two points between the sides. Kildorrery added another three points while Paul O'Rourke added another point for Aghabullogue, leaving the half time score read 0-08 to 0-04 in favour of Kildorrery.
