Heard that intermediate hurlers were short a few recently starting a league game against eire og and Mick Healy played full forward until replacements arrived.Word has it he was very unhappy with the selectors decision(Pat Kiely)to replace him after 15mins!!

It was a tough year on the playing fields for our adult teams.I hope some players who were unable to play this year,will be in a position to play next year.A number of players could make a big difference.

There's nothing on this site about the under 13 girls? It would be cool if ye could put some news and stuff and some credit for poor Michelle. Thanks!!! Come on Aghabullogue!!!

why is the minor football semi final fixture not on the site
Reply: The Minor football championship fixture is on the website. All fixtures are put up on the website as soon as I hear about them. If there is a fixture missing, please email the fixture to 'postmaster@aghabulloguegaa.com'.

Well done to the Under 12 Hurlers who took part in the Ballinhassig Blitz last Friday evening. They drew with Ballinhassig, beat Erins Own and lost to Eire Og in the group stage. This qualified them for a final against Eire Og. After a great game the scores were level at 1-01 each and the hosts decided that the trophy should be shared. Well done to mentors,players and supporters on a great tournament and thanks to Ballinhassig for hosting it.

Best of luck to the u14 footballers on sunday 9th when they play the mid cork football final against naobh aban in kilmurray at 2pm. Hopefully there will be a big support for the lads!!

Went to see the minor hurlers on Thursday nightand was delighted with the display they gave.These lads played their hearts out and if they stay at it success wont be far away.Well done lads.

are aghabullogue under 14s playing kilbree in the league semi final and if they are, When and where?
Reply: The U14 Hurling League Semi-Final v Kilbree has not yet been fixed. It will be played whenever it can be fitted in (hopefully over the next few weeks).

A tremendous effort by our hurlers tonight in beating St. Catherines, everyone associated with this win deserves great credit. Hope they will be able to do the same in the football.

Will there be any parish leages this summer for boys and girls in hurling/camogie?
Reply: There won't be parish leagues this year in football & hurling. There will be training right throughout the summer for all children from under 12 down. This will be a mixture of football & hurling.

Reply: There is no minor football league match fixed for the next week or so but there is training every Thursday at 7.30pm.

ITS FANTASTIC TO SEE THE PHOTO'S OF THE FUN DAY - THEY ARE FABULOUS AND I THINK THEY JUST SHOW WHAT FUN THE KIDS AND (BIG KIDS)HAD. THIS IS WHAT CLUBS ARE REALLY BE ABOUT. IT WAS A FANTASTIC DAY AND SHOULD BE RUN EVERY YEAR!

I would like to say thanks to everyone involved in the Fun Day yesterday. My children had a great time & slept soundly last night. It was a great day, & the weather held up. I thought the Tug O War & the Obstacle Course were fantastic. The food was great too. Well Done Aghabullogue GAA & Camogie Clubs!!

when does u13 training start?
Reply: The first U13 hurling match is scheduled for August 28th so training will be organised nearer to this time. U12 championship will be finished first.

As the Cork 08 hurling panell have extended an intitation to all clubs to meet them, will the chairman be attending???
Reply: It was decided at the last club meeting that both the Chairman and secretary would attend a meeting with the players if requested to do so.
